Cynthia is a character in Chewing Gum. She is Tracey Gordon's extremely religious sister. She is very strongly attached to Tracey, describing herself as her sister's "greatest friend."
Cynthia's favorite hobby is playing Ludo, either with Tracey or online.
As well as being on the autism spectrum, she appears to suffer from an anxiety disorder, as she says she is "generally always nervous." She is very intelligent but struggles with social skills, only appearing to know how to interact with other fundamentalist Christians.
Cynthia is initially disgusted by Tracey's sexual exploration and rejection of traditional Christian values, but she ultimately decides to explore her own sexuality. However, her newfound sexual liberation does not lead her to forsake her religious convictions entirely; she merely re-evaluates certain extreme positions.
